Celebrating Pride at Birkdale Park.

Last week, our staff and residents came together to celebrate the start of Pride Month with a day full of colour, smiles, and togetherness. Staff wore bright, colourful clothing, our residents enjoyed decorating delicious biscuits, and, as we proudly do every year, our Pride flags were displayed throughout Birkdale Park.

Celebrating Pride is about so much more than colourful decorations. It is a chance to recognise and celebrate diversity, inclusion, equality, and respect for everyone, regardless of who they are or who they love. We want every resident, visitor, family member, and member of staff to feel valued, accepted, and able to be themselves.

At Birkdale Park, we are committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and compassionate environment where everyone belongs. Pride Month is a wonderful reminder that kindness, understanding, and acceptance help make our community stronger.
